Volunteer Celebration Day
Coming August 4, 2007 to a City Near You!
Fifteen thousand Ducks Unlimited volunteers at over 100 locations across the country are anticipated for the August 4, 2007 Volunteer Celebration Day. The event is designed to thank Ducks Unlimited volunteers and celebrate 70 years of wetlands conservation.
A number of extraordinary prizes, including a Yamaha ATV, War Eagle boat, Browning gun safe, RealTree turkey hunt for two, Echo Chainsaw package, shopping spree from Bass ProShops, Kolpin hunting package, and dozens of guns will highlight the national sweepstakes comprised entirely of donations from Ducks Unlimited supporters.
The sweepstakes will be shown simultaneously across the country via a live web-cast. Ducks Unlimited officers and volunteers will also take the opportunity to address the thousands of volunteers across the country. Locally, event start times may vary, but the live web-cast will begin at 2:00pm EDT.
Other features of the day include exclusive Volunteer merchandise, local raffles, and voting to choose the official volunteer cap for 2008.
Anheuser-Busch headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, will host the central event for Volunteer Celebration Day. Budweiser is a Proud Sponsor of Ducks Unlimited and supports the organization’s work and its volunteers throughout the country.
